Troubleshooting Mach3
To troubleshoot mach3 communication:
we will need to make sure that your computers parallel port address is the same that is listed in mach3 "ports and pins".
To check this,
Open Mach3 > confg> ports and pins. You will then see the "port 1" address that is in mach3, this address needs to be the same as your computer.
To check this
Start> control panel>system> device manager, you will then see ports in the drop down list select the parallel port and select details, the address that you see must match the one in mach3 parts and pins setting.
The default mach3 xml file will generally have a default and is not always the same as your computer.
